Blackout g98 goes to Central California Blues!!!

Blackout g98 will begin playing with the Central California Blues (CCB) this 2011-2012 season. Previously a club that only consisted of boys teams, CCB has begun to develop the girls side of the club. We are excited to become part of such a successful club and look forward to future opportunities! Please visit their website at  www.centralcalblues.com

Central California Blues accepted to play in the Southern California Developmental Soccer League

Many have applied, but only a few were accepted! Central California Blues will play in the Southern California Development Soccer League (SCDSL). There were many attributes that had to be met to be accepted, including, but not limited to, the Club's success as a whole. The SCDSL is based on the development of soccer players, and not a "win at all costs" philosophy. Please visit thier website to find a list of the other elite clubs that have been accepted and will no longer play in the Coast League  http://www.socaldevelopmentleague.com/

Rich Bailey Friendship Tournament Finalists!

Picture
The girls fought hard and played with great heart to make it to the finals, while still missing 3 players! Several players were challenged to play new positions, and they all pulled together for eachother in a remarkable TEAM effort.  Just before the half in the final game, Caelyn scored to bring the score to 1-1,  and while the girls congratulated her on her first goal with the Blackout, they didn't realize another player was hurt.  Although Jenna was unable to return,  she cheered the girls on the rest of the game.  The girls gave their "all"  up to the last minute, and not one ever gave up! Needless to say, the entire sideline was extremely proud.  It was a great way to welcome out newest player....Erika!

The BBQ was a SUCCESS!!! Despite the heat,
we had an amazing turnout and the food was delicious!
Thanks to all our supporters!

Madrid Premier 2010

Picture
What a weekend! The girls came out strong Saturday ready to prove what they are made of. They went 3-0-1, and under the "circumstances" I think we'd all agree that they had a great time. They earned another medal to add to thier collection and proved that they knew what to do even if they were missing a key "player!" Great job Blackout G98!

State Cup 2010

Picture
We had a great run! We took first place in our bracket during the first round in San Bernardino, January 30-31st. After a delay the following week due to the weather, we met up with the South Bay Gunners-Black on February 20th in Lancaster, Ca. Unfortunately, we lost 2-1 in over time. The South Bay Gunners-Black ended up winning the entire tournament. There is much to be proud of knowing we were able to hang with the champs. We'll be back...

Eagles Winter Classic Finalists!

Picture
Our team had an amazing time at The Eagles Winter Classic. The girls learned so much and the weather was perfect! We played in the U12 Silver division even though we are only U11. Our first game was against Orcutt Bayern Muich, which is a U12 team, and tied 1-1. Next, we played Agoura Purple Crush, another U12, and won 6-1. Our third game was against the Atascadero Shockwaves, again u12, and won 1-0. Our final game was against the Eagles' Silver U11 team and finished out with a 1-0 win. Check out our blog for some of the coach's thoughts!

2009-2010

We are currently a U11 team and are located in Bakersfield, Ca. This is our first year playing club, and let us just say...dynamite comes in small packages!

We are looking forward to our next 2 tournaments; The Eagles Classic, and State Cup.

Our First Season

Picture
Our first season was a blast! We fulfilled and exceeded all our expectations by competing with and even winning some matches where we played U12 teams. Our Blackout coach, Daniel Felix, was extremely proud of the progress the girls made from one game to the next, and more than pleased with their overall success. We look forward to our tournaments this off season, and are excited to build more experiences on the field!
